Memories of the Little D

Created by Natalie one year ago

The moment I realised Ozzy loved me as much as I loved him (I had to work really hard for his love in the early days as he was such a Mummy’s boy!) was just before Christmas 2021, we had a full house and Ozzy was wandering through the kitchen looking lost. He suddenly saw me across the crowded room and wagged his tail, put his head down and ran to me, as if to say ‘that’s my human!’ Took a lot of walks, treats & showers but eventually he was a Mama’s boy too!
Another favourite (and so typically Ozzy) story was our trip to Wales, staying in a caravan. It had an enclosed decking area outside, so the morning after we arrived we let Ozzy out. About 10 minutes passed and we realised he’d been gone a while, went out to look for him and he had his head stuck between the railings! He wasn’t bothered, just sitting watching the world go by, waiting to be rescued by his humans! It took us a long time to get his head out & there was even talk about whether we’d have to go and buy a saw! This happened every time he went outside for a whole week, he never learnt not to put his head through, but we got the knack of pulling him out!
A few of our ridiculous names for Ozzy over the years- the Little D, Mr. Fluffington, the Hoodle, the snuggliest puggliest pudding & pie! We could almost see him roll his eyes at us every time we used one of these nicknames!
Our arms, home and hearts are empty without you our beautiful boy.
